**bold text** Formed in late 2016 Moonlight Zoo have wasted no time in spreading their infectious brand of Alternative Pop music to the masses. Shortly after forming the band cut their teeth busking around the streets of Europe, followed by headline shows throughout Scotland in their first year. The band made their live television debut on The Riverside Show on STV & were subsequently booked to headline the famous King Tuts Wah Wah Hut in association with prestigious events company This Feeling.
The bands first official release came out in April 2018, recorded by veteran Scottish Producer Bruce Rintoul (Fatherson, Twin Atlantic). The Single received wide acclaim including features in national radio & press, including being awarded Radio X “Track Of The Week” & BBC Radio Scotland track of the week. It also led to their first festival appearance, playing Isle Of Wight Festival alongside The Who & Queen and many more major festivals including TRNSMT and a main stage slot at Party At The Palace.
The band went on to recently win Hard Rock Cafes worldwide battle of the band competition in 2019 and performed a headline show at the legendary paramount theatre in New York and claimed the Grand prize.
