MONO 01 are an alternative indie rock band from Shefford, Bedfordshire, influenced by a range of rock and indie bands such as Arctic Monkeys, Queens of the Stone Age and Catfish and the Bottlemen. We formed during A-Levels, with the mutual desire to create an album, spending the following months writing our own songs and recording them using what equipment our school had. We then formed the full band by recruiting our friends to help us play them live at venues such as The Horn, St. Albans and 02 Academy Islington, the latter of which was in front of a sold out crowd of over 200.
