Monkish formed in 2005 in London and have built steadily up a reputation since then, with their own unique and chaotic genre of "cabaret punk".
The band have played many gigs and festivals all over the UK, as well as Belgium, Germany, Holland, Italy, Ireland, Austria, and The USA
Some of the bigger festivals the band have played are Rebellion, Wicker Man, Farmer Phil's, and they have supported the likes of The Beat, Jilted John, Bad Manners, and The UK Subs.
They released their first album in 2011 and the second album has just been recorded and will be released in the next few months on the Frugal Records label.
The band are looking to play lots of gigs in support of the new album.
