Channeling “sunlit jazz and honey-like vocals”(Off The Block), Lunafruit have been gaining recognition within the South London music scene with their smooth jazz/pop blend. The project was founded in 2017 by friends that met working as session musicians and decided to write their own musical offering. They released their first two singles ‘Rise and ‘Superhero’ in 2018, earning a following on Spotify and plays on BBC Introducing, earning this young band high praise: “impeccably produced, melodic, bright and uplifting”(Glamglare), a “tender and soulful summer track”(Vents Magazine) with “stunning vocals”(Somewhere Soul). They have big plans for 2019, with the upcoming release of their first EP, ‘Slow Steps’ and a summer tour as they bring their uplifting, soulful sound to new ears.
