Who? Luke is a self-taught guitarist, singer, song-writer, and producer from Surrey, UK. He spent most of his teen years, up to his twenties, in bands, and decided to go solo.
What? Luke's style is best compared to that of a mixture between John Mayer and Ed Sheeran, and brings a whole range of influences into his music and writing style. As a solo artist, he records the music as he plays it, thanks to his loop pedal, which is often mind-blowing to watch, but his big picture is for a much bigger sound as you will hear from the music he produces. Ranging somewhere in between Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, Phil Collins and the aforementioned John Mayer and Ed Sheeran, Luke drenches his playing, singing, and writing technique with influences from across the board. He writes from experience and the soul; some of the metaphors, and word play in his songs, are sometimes missed if you're too caught up in how such a big voice comes from such a short, five-foot, five-inch, rusty-haired guitar player.
