Wirral native Lucy began teaching herself guitar while at university in Norwich, before navigating her way from open mic nights to major festival performances. Growing up listening to Fleetwood Mac, Amy Winehouse and Eva Cassidy to Laura Marling, John Martyn, The Smiths and the Black Keys, it's no surprise these influences have found their way into Lucy's own rootsy, acoustic blues material. Poignant, personal yet empowering lyrics merge with distinct chord progressions and memorable choruses to create a truly unique live performance.
2017 saw enigmatic festival performances at Latitude, Folk on the Dock, Vangollen, Smoked and Uncut, Gorjys Secrets, The International Guitar Festival of Great Britain, Chester Live and many more around the UK. Since 2014, her appearances have included Smithdown Road, Chester Gin and Vodka festival, West Kirby Live, New Brighton Seaside Festival, Liverpool International Music Festival, Off Cut Folk 'n Ale, Astral Coast, and Threshold.
In early 2018, Lucy played her first Sofar Sounds show in Southampton, as well as a sold-out gig at The Big Room Heswall, before performing her latest track, Fall A Little Further, live on Radio City Talk and BBC Radio Merseyside.
