2019 update

L-space write utopian electro/dream pop about better worlds because this one is a bit naff right now. They're signed to the innovative Last Night from Glasgow label and, since forming in January 2017, have released three EPs, one album and a string of singles. Their debut album, Kipple Arcadia, was recently released on pink vinyl and to critical acclaim.

They use dreamy guitar and retrofuturistic synths, coupled with grooving bass, catchy beats and Lily's ethereal vocals, to create unique pop soundscapes which have been compared to the likes of Goldfrapp, Portishead, Radiohead and Mogwai.

"L-Space are one of the most exciting bands in Glasgow" Rave Child

"a welcome example of originality...exquisite and exotic; a winning formula all round" Fresh On The Net

"truly enchanting" Louder Than War

"...a depth of artistry and a gift for songcraft put them some way ahead of a host of more feted DIY adventurers, modelling a savvy retro sheen and a dazzling future-shock vision...uncommonly vital" The Skinny

Since September 2018 we have performed at BBC Introducing showcases, playing live radio sessions for the BBC, and have started booking festivals for the summer of 2019. We'll also be recording our second album and releasing some very exciting things along the way.
