KingFast is a Jamaican born and Belfast raised solo artist whose soulful vocals have been gathering traction around the UK. Some more notable performances of KingFast’s include Liverpool International Music Festival, Cannes (during the film festival), Edinburgh Fringe, Nantwich Jazz Festival, Liverpool Sound City and Aintree Racecourse for Ladies Day. Since winning Merseyrail SoundStation 2017 KingFast’s audience has grown greatly and his sound developed. It is very apparent upon listening to KingFast’s music that there is a fusion of several genres but seemingly most prominent is a cross between Pop and Soul. In 2021 KingFast returned for the final Threshold Festival and debuted at Elderflower Fields Festival.

“a solo singer and guitarist who packs in considerable energy and geniality to his shows. You’d have to be one very seriously miserable so and so, not to be hooked in by his Stevie Wonder-style vocals, along with that beaming, infectious smile of his.” Getintothis “A melting pot of pop, soul and hip-hop awaits listeners of Kingfast’s… Kingfast’s delivery is passionate and technically more than capable.” Reyt Good Magazine

“Stunning looped guitar acrobatics and soulful pop numbers.” Bido Lito

“Wow, what a voice... very soulful.” Dave Monks (BBC Introducing Merseyside)

“Simple, but powerful. He has an almost folk-ish sound mixed with some of the most soulful vocals ever heard coming out of the city. Aside from the earworm hook and KingFast’s irresistible voice, the self-created harmonies... elevate it... by the time you reach his falsetto you have all but fallen in love”. Planet Slop
