The eponymous Karl Walsh is a Manchester based musician, author and actor with a diverse artistic background. Originally signed to Tony Wilson's Factory Records with the band To Hell With Burgundy, Karl and co toured Europe and then the world, commanding international supporting slots with the likes of Bob Geldof, Barclay James Harvest and Graham Parker. After retreating to France for some time to become a writer, Karl returned to the UK in 2009 to form the band The Visitors, whilst writing his latest novel 'The Rat King' and completing a law degree. Karl now plays his unique brand of folk-pop songs backed by Philip John, Frederick Apps and Chic Markham, A.K.A, 'The Happy Future'. Their latest single, "Wonderful" is available for download via iTunes, or in special limited edition CD format in resin cast casing at the Earliest Records online store.
