KAIYO with Nick Costley-White
Entry Requirements: All welcome
Doors open 7pm. Music starts at 8pm.
Nick Costley‑White is one of the UK’s most in‑demand jazz guitarists, celebrated for his deep command of the jazz tradition, virtuosic technique and forward‑looking improvisational style. A London‑based performer with a truly international footprint, he’s appeared at major clubs across Europe and Asia — from Ronnie Scott’s to Blue Note (Milan, Shanghai, Beijing), Duc des Lombards, A‑Trane, Nardis, and more.
His three albums — Detour Ahead, Nice Work, and Poncha (2025), featuring an all‑star lineup including Julian Siegel, James Maddren and Conor Chaplin — showcase his distinctive voice as both guitarist and composer.
A first‑call collaborator on the UK scene, he has performed with Stan Sulzmann, Gareth Lockrane, Jason Rebello, Ivo Neame, Kit Downes, Alex Garnett, Steve Fishwick and Jeff Williams, and holds the guitar chair with the London Jazz Orchestra. Expect clarity, swing, sophistication — and world‑class modern jazz guitar playing.
