Poetry & Popadoms returns to Karamel N22 on Friday 25th September for another evening of exceptional spoken word, laughter and delicious food.

This month’s line-up brings together three outstanding voices. Robin Ince, legendary comedian, author and co-host of The Infinite Monkey Cage, praised as “incredibly funny, genuine, infectious, & authentic.”

Joining him is Ishita Uppadhayay, winner of the 2025 Aurora Poetry Prize, whose sharp, insightful poetry explores everything you’re told never to discuss at the dinner table.

Completing the bill is Acclaimed performance poet** Mark Gwynne Jones**, described by The Guardian as “one of the most accomplished performance poets in the land”, draws audiences into a world where things are never quite what they seem.
