Ciara Osuagwu is a 17 year old rising jazz flautist and composer. For the past few years she has been mentored by some of the jazz scene’s inspirational music leaders including Gareth Lockrane, Denys Baptiste, and Romarna Campbell who have all helped shape her musical journey.
Taking influences from the innovative compositions of Joe Henderson and jazz flautist Elena Pinderhughes, Ciara’s music blends post bop sounds with contemporary voices.
Althouh only at the start of her musical career, Ciara has already played at renowned jazz clubs such as the Jazz Café, 606, Vortex and Dizzy's (NYC), as well as We Out Here Festival and Brick Lane Jazz Festival.
