YUSUF MAHMOUD
Singer Yusuf Mahmoud brings the soul of Afghanistan to the stage in a deeply moving live performance that bridges tradition and contemporary expression.
A progressive voice rooted in heritage, Yusuf weaves together Afghan folk melodies with the spiritual depth of Sufi kalam, performed in both Dari and Pashto. His music carries the echoes of mountains, memory, exile, and resilience β telling stories of love, loss, devotion, and survival.
He is joined by Ariz Mahmoud, an exceptionally talented young tabla player whose rhythmic mastery adds depth, energy, and nuance to the performance. Together, they create a rich, immersive soundscape that moves seamlessly between the meditative and the ecstatic.
This is more than a concert. It is a journey through the joys and sorrows of Afghanistan, where poetry and rhythm become a language of healing and connection.
An intimate, powerful evening of music that invites you to listen, reflect, and feel.
