Join us for an unforgettable night of music and conversation! The evening kicks off with a Q&A session with award-winning saxophonist Matt Sulzmann, where you’ll get the chance to hear his stories, insights, and ask your own questions.
Matt Sulzmann is part of a new wave of UK jazz musicians making their mark with originality and depth. A graduate of both the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, he has performed with acclaimed ensembles including the London Jazz Orchestra, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra, and the Stan Sulzmann Big Band. His debut album Sometime, Never was praised for its clarity of writing and emotional nuance, establishing him as a thoughtful composer as well as a distinctive improviser. He’s also collaborated with leading UK artists across contemporary jazz and creative music, steadily building a reputation for sensitivity, versatility, and a sound that nods to his lineage while standing firmly on its own.
