Simon and Amy of KAIYO are joined by John Parricelli and Paul Clarvis to kick off a series of bi-monthly Friday night jazz performances.

A founding member of the now iconic British big band Loose Tubes, guitarist John Parricelli is renowned as a musician of impeccable taste, versatility & skill. His work alongside highly regarded jazz artists such as Andy Sheppard, Norma Winstone, Kenny Wheeler and Mark Lockheart further established his reputation as a first-call player, which then expanded to include the who’s who of the pop world, Annie Lennox, Robbie Williams, Mike Oldfield and Goldfrapp to name just a few. And, he’s also heralded for his performances on film scores including Skyfall, Lord of the Rings and Wonka.

“Parricelli seems capable of endless feats of subtlety and control. Having Parricelli in the band is like having several world musicians, all in the one chair..” LondonJazz

'It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to say that accomplished percussionist Paul Clarvis has performed with everyone you know and on everything you love. Clarvis was the late Leonard Bernstein's preferred London percussionist and helped Rick Smith with the drum arrangement for the London Olympics 2012 show-stopping opening, as well as having worked with high-profile musicians like Mick Jagger, Stevie Wonder, Sir Paul McCartney, and Elton John.

His film slate is just as impressive, including memorable films like “Star Wars,” “Harry Potter,” “The Chronicles of Narnia,” “Twilight,” “Skyfall,” “Tron,” “Shrek,” and “The Hobbit.” Beyond his ongoing and in-demand work as a session musician, Clarvis is also an Honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music
