Simon and Amy of KAIYO are joined by John Parricelli and Paul Clarvis to kick off their series of monthly Friday night jazz performances.

Get ready for an unforgettable evening of jazz with two of the UK’s most in-demand musicians.

On guitar, John Parricelli – founding member of the legendary Loose Tubes and now a regular in the Strictly Come Dancing band, Parricelli’s career spans collaborations with icons from Kenny Wheeler and Norma Winstone to Jamie Cullum, Toni Braxton, and even Gary Barlow. His playing has graced countless albums and film scores, making him one of the most versatile guitarists of his generation.

On drums, Paul Clarvis – also a fixture in the Strictly Come Dancing rhythm section – adds his trademark groove and flair. Leonard Bernstein’s preferred percussionist in London, Clarvis has performed everywhere from the Last Night of the Proms to the London Olympics opening ceremony. His credits include hundreds of film soundtracks (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Skyfall, The Dark Knight) and collaborations with Stevie Wonder, Mick Jagger, Elton John, Ravi Shankar and Harrison Birtwistle.
