He joined forces with Don Weller and Art Themen to form the ‘Three Jazz Tenors’ band, and he worked and recorded with drummer, Martin Drew, with their co-led award-winning group ‘New Jazz Couriers’.

Mornington has also played live with many international jazz artists including Jon Hendricks, Franco Ambrosetti, Niels Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Dave Weckl, Bernard Purdie, Jon Faddis, Ulf Wakenius, Georgie Fame and Jack DeJohnette.

Mornington is well known for his big sound and fiery playing, a true genius of jazz saxophone, and we are delighted to welcome him to Karamel.
