Performance Highlights:

In late October of 2010 Josh met Max Weinberg (Drummer for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, and Ex-Band leader for Conan O'Brien on NBC). Shortly after their meeting Josh was invited to open for Max to a sold out crowd at the South Orange Performing Arts Centre, Max's hometown, in New Jersey November 6th 2010.

"It was my good fortune to have seen Josh Taerk perform in his hometown of Toronto during the Fall of 2010. He blew me away with his presentation and songwriting abilities. When I performed with my big band in my hometown in New Jersey a few weeks later I asked Josh to open the show. Again, he mightily impressed the audience in his US debut with his voice, his guitar, and his songs. I've known, and played with, a few singer/songwriters in my time, and I can tell you-Josh Taerk has what it takes." - Max Weinberg

In April of 2011, Josh was invited to play two shows at the 7908 Aspen Songwriters Festival Produced By: John Oates

June 29th 2011, Josh travelled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for the opening night of Summerfest. Josh was invited onstage by Max Weinberg to play the classic Bruce Springsteen song, "Ramrod", as a tribute to the late Clarence Clemons of the E Street Band.

In September 2012, Josh was invited to perform as part of Canada's Walk of Fame Festival.

In 2012 Josh was selected to tour throughout Scotland, Wales and England opening for "The Soldiers", the first rock/pop group of serving, British soldiers to have two hit Top 5 albums selling over 1 million copies. Josh gained significant attention wherever they played. Josh returned to the UK in the summer of 2012 to tour once again with the Soldiers.

There is no doubt that Josh Taerk is the real deal. His songs cover a wide range of stories, the chronicles of a young man's life. As Josh says, "Life is not a destination, it's the journey that makes us who we are."
