Formed in 2010 by singer-songwriter John Deery, 'John Deery and The Heads' quickly built up a reputation as one of NI's most exciting and engaging bands, recording three studio albums and playing sellout live shows around Ireland. Their songs have been described as powerful, poetic, melodic, thought-provoking acoustic anthems.
With an established repertoire of popular songs and a distinctive sound, the band have delighted audiences in theatres and venues across the country, including shows with The Beach Boys, MTV Crashes and Other Voices, as well as several high-profile radio and television appearances on BBC2, BBC Radio Ulster and RTE.
Having been made SoundCloud Artist of the Day in 2014, John Deery and The Heads continue to grow their fan base and build on their reputation as one of Derry's and Northern Ireland's finest bands.
