Hailing from the wilds of Derbyshire & Worcestershire, the collective forces of Jasper In The Company Of Others present an energetic fusion of indie pop at its very finest. Their live performances have received critical acclaim and they are consistently lauded as being one of the very finest bands around, be it their headline shows or their magnificent festival appearances across the country.

Formed in 2011, the line up is now made up of five formidable musicians, each one outstanding in their own right. They are; Jasper Malone (lead vocals & guitar), Jak Hayward (ukele & backing vocals), Will Hughes (bass & backing vocals), Adam Ingram (fiddle & backing vocals) and Chris Yeomans (drums).

Their debut single Black Belt was released in 2013 on Sound Hub Records and was a huge success. This was followed by their debut album, Dens And Diaries and really saw the band come into their own. As their popularity grew they scored high profile slots at noted festivals and supported the likes of Ed Sheeran, Ben Howard, Luke Concannon, Dog Is Dead and Brother & Bones. This was followed in 2014 with the release of their groundbreaking EP Kind Regards which lead to further supports with the likes of Sophie Ellis Bextor and Nizlopi.

In 2015 the band toured the UK extensively and played a large number of festivals which arguably saw them play some of the greatest performances yet. Perhaps the best of these was seen at Barn On The Farm where the band were hailed as “band of the weekend” and had people talking about them for weeks afterwards. They have also played a triumphant two day residency at Sofar Sounds and have been invited back in November to play as part of their Alumni shows. As the year draws towards the end the band are writing new material and planning new recordings and tours in 2016 – which should be their biggest and most exciting year yet!!

“Quite definitely one of the greatest live sets we have ever witnessed in many years of doing this thing that we do.” – Fortitude Magazine

“Jasper was true to his word and turned up in the company of other people. The other people were all talented musicians like himself and together they performed a barn storming set in no other location than the barn, which was lovely.” – Festival Baby

“For us here at STS, one of our favourite new bands emerging out of the UK live music scene…..nearly has us packing our bags for Britain” – Spreading The Seed (Australia)
