Tiny Songs is a collection of songs recorded (mostly live) in my bedroom on a Tascam MF-P01 4-track tape recorder. Stripped back, acoustic versions of my songs in their most basic forms. Some of these songs you may hear me play live; some may appear on more professional, fleshed out releases in the future; some may never see the light of day again. The songs (in this form) will never be available on streaming sites like Spotify. The recording quality is Lo-Fi - especially on the homemade tapes!
Once recorded, I dub the tracks myself onto a limited run of 25 cassette tapes, I have designed and printed the artwork myself and numbered all the tapes too! First dibs on these cassettes goes to my mailing listers. So be sure to join up if you want to get hold of one yourself, they're just £5! Any left-overs will be sold at gigs. With the tape you will receive a digital download code to a private Bandcamp album, which means you can have them digitally too.
This is a real labour of love - it's great fun and it keeps me busy while I scrape together the money for major releases - it also helps fund those releases. I really hope you like the songs and the tapes. Tiny Songs (Part 1) is available now on Bandcamp featuring John Kirkpatrick.
