Terl Bryant : Voice of Drums

We’re delighted to welcome acclaimed drummer and percussionist Terl Bryant to HURSTfolk. for a show that promises to be as powerful as it is personal. Voice of Drums is a unique live performance combining Terl’s own music with tracks from some of the world-class artists he has worked alongside during more than four decades at the heart of the music industry.

“I left school at sixteen to chase the dream of drumming in a rock ’n’ roll band. Over forty years later, I carry with me a thousand and one stories of unforgettable concerts, incredible music, and adventures shared with some of the most extraordinary artists on the planet. And now, I can’t wait to share them with you.”

Renowned for his distinctive drumming style, Terl’s career has seen him collaborate with a remarkable roll-call of musicians including John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), Martin Barre (Jethro Tull), Iona, Maddy Prior, Elizabeth McGovern, Graham Kendrick, Barbara Dickson, Matt Redman and Peter Gabriel.
