This year will mark 10 years of the Hanwell Hootie. We were started by a small band of determined local music lovers and have since grown into one of the largest free music festivals in the UK. We celebrate the birth of the mighty Marshall amp in our tiny corner of west London. We are affectionately now know as the ''Home of Loud" and work closely with our friends at Marshall amplification.
From 12 bands in 3 pubs in 2013 to over 100 bands spread over 14 venues....pubs, churches and outdoor stages today. We are run entirely by volunteers and are a registered CIC.
We showcase emerging and established talent from London, the UK and beyond , as well as serving up a healthy dose of comedy and fabulous feasting. We also believe strongly in giving young people a stage to perform so included in all this amazingness is a dedicated youth stage!
2022 is an extra special year. Not only is it 10 years of the Hootie but also 60 years of Marshall amplification.
