HONEST WORK

Honest Work have spent the last three years honing a sound that hits hard and rings true. The result is Another Broken Glass – a raw, no-frills EP that captures the band at their most direct and fully realised. Recorded at Real World Studios in the West Country, engineered and produced by Xav Sinden, mixed by Oli Middleton, and mastered by James Trevascus, the record delivers a punchy, straight-to-the-point take on modern rock – blending all-out intensity with a sharp, considered edge, drawing influence from Queens of the Stone Age, Jeff Buckley, R.E.M., and Wunderhorse.

Their debut single Horses for Meat, set the tone early on – a bold introduction that signalled both intent and identity - receiving support from the likes of Dork, Line of Best Fit, Clash, DIY Magazine, Far Out Magazine, Clunk Magazine.

The band’s rise has been matched by an electrifying live reputation, with festival appearances including Left of the Dial and Live at Leeds. As Lucy Harbron from Far Out Magazine put it: “From the energy of their crowd, which seemed to collapse into one giant mosh pit, you’d think that the band have been going for years, slaving away to build a following that is dedicated and locked in. Instead, it’s just a strong reminder of the power of a good band with good songs filled with good energy, mimicking the festival’s ethos.”

Honest Work stay exactly that – honest. No smoke, no mirrors. Just music that reflects who they are, channeling the energy and grit of their live performances into a sound that keeps pushing forward.

Having recently supported the likes of Westside Cowboy, Home Counties, FEET, Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard and Grandma’s House, Honest Work are building serious momentum. Armed with Another Broken Glass and a cache of new material, the band look set to raise the bar this autumn and well into 2027.
