Brighton quartet School Disco return with their striking new single ‘Happen’ (out now via Krautpop!), a brooding and hypnotic fusion of prog, psychedelic rock and krautrock. Known for their high-octane live shows, the band have previously shared stages with Wolf Alice, Lime Garden, Froth, Bo Ningen and Frankie and the Witch Fingers, building a reputation for textured, experimental and musically rich performances.

Recorded live with minimal overdubs, ‘Happen’ captures School Disco at their most raw and expansive yet, drawing inspiration from Black Sabbath, CAN, and Meddle-era Pink Floyd while venturing into darker, more meditative territory. With tastemaker support from BBC 6 Music, Radio X, Louder Than War and more, the single marks the start of an ambitious new chapter for the band — one that promises heavy psych jams, expansive soundscapes and progressive, immersive songwriting.
