Chartreuse head to The Lanes, Bristol following the release of their deeply affecting second album Bless You & Be Well, crafted during a secluded two-week stay in rural Iceland in summer 2024. The Black Country quartet – Mike and Rory Wagstaff, Hattie Wilson, and Perry Lovering – embraced a more instinctive, collaborative approach under producer Sam Petts-Davies (The Smile), creating a raw and emotionally resonant record shaped by grief, healing, and connection.
Blending criss-crossing guitars, experimental textures, and heartfelt vocals, the band lean fully into their unique chemistry. Highlights like “Sequence of Voices,” “Kid Won’t Eat,” and “I’m Losing It” explore themes of anxiety, recovery and emotional release, all carried by an undercurrent of warmth and humanity. With a live set that mirrors the album’s intensity and intimacy, this is a show not to be missed.

Falmouth-formed five-piece Moreish Idols released their debut album All In The Game on 7th March via tastemaker label Speedy Wunderground. Evolving from their early art-punk energy, the band now embrace psychedelic folk textures, layered harmonies and inventive production. Co-produced by Dan Carey (The Smile, Black Midi), the album explores time, memory and illness with both emotional depth and sonic playfulness—blending tape-manipulated sax, acoustic guitars and unison vocals into something both personal and surreal.
With themes ranging from family and health to cosmic perspective, All In The Game is rich in feeling but ultimately hopeful—balancing heavy subject matter with warmth and curiosity. Highlights like ‘Ambergrin’, ‘Slouch’ and ‘Dream Pixel’ reflect a band unafraid to challenge themselves creatively, offering a striking and emotive debut that cements Moreish Idols as a bold new voice in UK guitar music.
