Gravy Train presents:
MANDRAGORA + WŒRMHOLE
Entry Requirements: 18+
Known for their heavy riffs and heartfelt lyrics intertwined, Mandragora have quickly made a name for themselves with a live show that is as emotionally stirring as it is exhilarating. The stage, adorned with flowers, vines, and candles, sets a hauntingly beautiful scene. Since they formed in March 2023, they've appeared at renowned venues including Thekla, The Fleece and Trinity Centre, alongside the likes of Kid Brunswick, Kite Thief, Gender Crisis, Death Goals and Pretty Addicted. Their live show is a testament to their ability to connect with audiences on multiple levels, providing an experience that leaves fans both energised and moved.
The effort is created by dual lead guitarists Ryan Morris and Ryan MacIsaac, Bassist Kieran Pinnick, Riley Green on Drums and Maisie Waterhouse on Vocals. Despite their diverse backgrounds, the band members unite with shared musical influences including System Of A Down, Killswitch Engage and Rage Against The Machine, which have shaped their distinctive sound.
‘Maisie’s vocal performance is breathtaking. When you notice her draw in oxygen and her arms slowly raise, you instantly brace for the power about to be unleashed. It’s hairs-on-the-back-of-the-neck stuff.’
‘We left knowing we had seen a band that will undoubtedly grace stages at the likes of Bloodstock, Download, and beyond.’ – The Bristol Gig Guide
