Currently touring the UK with the worlds biggest female group Little Mix, Aussie siblings Georgia (guitar, keys), Ella (electric cello, bass) and Clara Germein (drums) look forward to returning home to the Adelaide Hills just in time to perform their infectious indie pop original music throughout the Australian Festival Circuit.
2017 saw the trio tour another successful bombardment of Germany, Switzerland, & Spain before rounding-off their third subsequent performance at the Isle of Wight Festival, UK (David Guetta, Rod Stewart, The Vamps).
Germein Sisters have been quickly on the rise since forming in 2012 after spending their childhood jamming together on their family’s bushland property in South Australia. Their debut album “Because You Breathe” went on to enter the Top 100 Album Sales Charts in Switzerland, and debut single “Da Da Doo” entered the Top 100 Mainstream Radio Charts in Germany.
Securing a Top 5 nomination for Best Pop Artist, Best Band, and Best Song “Da Da Doo” in the South Australian Music Awards, Germein Sisters have performed in Germany at the Women of the World Festival, The Steiger Awards, and at Friedrichshof Palace for the Prince of Hessen. In 2016 they represented Australia at the Hue Festival in Vietnam following an invitation from the Australian Embassy in Hanoi. Lead vocalist Georgia Germein’s songwriting awards include a finalist in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest (NY), semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition (TN), winner of seven ASME Young Composers Awards (AU), and finalist in the Australian Songwriting Competition (AU).
With performances across Australia, New Zealand, China, Vietnam, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, UK, and Toronto; the Germein Sisters look forward to many more exciting adventures to come in 2018.
