Brothers, Daz and Rew Brown, began playing in bands together in the early 90s starting with death metal band Eternal Fear. Then, with a change in direction, towards Avant garde psychedelic rock, went on to be in another four bands together; Mr Lucky Bags, Phorm, Egg Tent And Cookie Cutter.

One thing which remained consistent throughout each incarnation of the band was the unique sound that the Brown brothers had been constantly developing over twenty years. So when Cookie Cutter split up, the decision was made to continue as a two piece utilizing and experimenting with looping and guitar synth technology, as well as exploring a more natural acoustic element with emphasis on keeping the music as organic and live as possible. So with a couple of years in the studio developing their own style of chilled out progressive psychadelic rock, a collection of new and varying material came to life and......... Featherteeth was born.

Animal Tracks was originally recorded in 2014 with close friend, Josh 'Pierat' Drake and was the debut project for Binbagpig Studios, a D.I.Y studio run by a small collective including several members of Featherteeth. 3 years on, the band decided that a remaster and the addition of extra instruments would greatly benefit the original Binbagpig project.

Daz and Rew wrote the songs on this album as a 2 piece following the formation of ‘Featherteeth’ and after a decade of writing and playing as a duo they invite Pierat to play bass for them, following his work on the album and the live studio album. Pierat also features on the remixed and remastered Animal Tracks.
