Devotees of early Joy Divison/Warsaw, Husker Du and Rites of Spring, Fawn Spots' are razor edged and lightning fast. Short blasts of hyperactive noise delivered with fever; their often dramatic, always entertaining and ridiculously energetic live show has gained them the reputation being one of the best underground live acts in the UK.
In 2013 the band signed to Critical Heights/Fire Records. Their debut album ‘From Safer Place’ is scheduled to be released in March 2015. The album was recorded and engineered by the band in a studio they built themselves in an abandoned garden centre. In the mean time they have released a 7” split single on Critical Heights with label mates Scott & Charlene’s Wedding to support a string of UK tour dates.
Fawn Spots have played over 130 shows including Festival slots at Incubate, Monkey Week, Live at Leeds, Tramlines, Beacons and Sound of the Dutch Underground as well as supporting acts like Ice Age, Grant Hart (Husker Du), Fidlar, and The Babies.
