They soon went on to being described as ““The perfect storm of…oddness.” By Kerrang magazine in October 2015. Preston’s Evil Blizzard are truly an enigma. A mystery. A baffling conundrum. Four bass players, a singing drummer, an array of rubber masks that will give both children and adults sleepless nights for days on end, laying there, sweating, convulsing – They are the most ingenious and charismatic live experience on the music scene today. In August on the release of the single ‘Are You Evil’ from their sophomore album “Everybody Come to Church” . Nikki Sixx of Motley Crue / Sixx Am declared on his Sixx Sense syndicated radio show: “I haven't heard anyone else play this. I'd love to be the first. The song is called "Are You Evil?". The band has four bass players and they all wear masks. So when you see the video you're like, wow, this is really cool. It's like Gothic, its Punk rock. But just forget all that and just listen to the song, because without a good song none of that other stuff matters". Following on from the critically acclaimed debut release “The Dangers of Evil Blizzard”. ‘Everybody come to Church’ was released on October 9th 2015 .Produced by Richard McNamara of Embrace at his Magnetic North Studios in Yorkshire and recorded in one day. It sold out of its initial vinyl and CD run and received KKKK’s from Kerrang and was described by Classic Rock Magazine as “A repellent to the bovine majority, but if the world’s going to burn, it comes as the perfect soundtrack” and was given a thunderous 7/10 and was streamed on their website for the whole world to hear. Mixing their musical heritage from early Sabbath through to more modern contemporaries as Public Image Limited and Killing Joke. The latter two personally asking for Evil Blizzard to open for them. Evil Blizzard delve into many musical genres. From Krautrock to pop to even heavy dub. No genre is safe from their reach. But who are their influences, who do they appeal too. Filthy Dirty explained to GigSoup in a recent interview. “People with more money than taste, ideally. We seem to have a similar appeal right across any genre; metal, indie, dance, goth, dub; you name it – we can annoy anyone. We could start a new ‘goth/dub’ genre. We’re the kings of Gub.” Opening for such diverse acts as Space, Sleaford Mods, Ruts DC, Gnod, Hawkwind, Killing Joke, Public Image Limited, Bo Ningen and Embrace. Blizzard have not only won over partisan crowds but have gone on to conquer such music festivals as Kendal Calling, Supersonic, Rebellion, The Great British Alternative Music Festival and The International Festival of Psychedelia in Liverpool at which on reviewer wrote “They went on to ask their adoring audience a number of pertinent questions. Specifically — as their set closer had it — “Are You Evil?” If evil is this good, then hand me the pitchfork and goat legs, because I’m going in. “
