Emily Capell tells blues inflected indiepop tales of life's frustrations and elations. Whether she's railing against the wrongs of the world, getting a little frisky or inventing a new dance craze Emily will pull you in and spin you round so quickly you'll wonder why you ever bothered with dull generic boys with guitars.

Over the past couple of years Emily and her band have played countless shows and a variety of festivals, including Standon Calling. 2014 has seen her release a well received digital EP and sell out a cassette single version (released through Post/Pop) within a week of release. Indie label Blang! released an acoustic single featuring Who Killed Smiley Culture and Plastic in July which picked up airplay on BBC 6Music, BBC London, Amazing Radio and numerous local stations. Actor Mat Horne and premiership footballer Joey Barton are both big fans, the former booking her for a sold out show in Shoreditch at his club night.
