Eleanor Beale is a 19 year old singer/ songwriter from just north of London.
Eleanor took an interested in music from a young age, taking up classical guitar at the age of six. She went on to study music, music theory and music technology at school, at college and in her spare time. It wasn’t long before she began writing and producing her own original music.
In the Spring of 2018, her first single ‘Lost’ was released. A synth pop tune touching on her love for the present moment and feelings of apprehension towards the future. Through 2018, while finishing her high schooling, Eleanor developed her own musical style and honed in on her production and compositional skills to create her first ever album ‘Paint Me A Picture’, released in December 2018.
‘Paint Me A Picture’ includes 10 tracks, which cover a range of subject matters such as her own experience of social anxiety, family, dreams and tween angst. The songs take inspiration from a number of genres, styles and artists such as Fleetwood Mac, Paramore, The 1975 and Kate Bush to create an original folk/pop sound.
The release of this album and the completion of her time at college pushed Eleanor to begin gigging in venues in and around London, supporting upcoming artists such as Mosa Wild and Pink Shirts For Pale People. Her album quickly received attention from the BBC with a slot on BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire as the ‘Getting To Know You’ guest.
