Edward Sansom is a dynamic up and coming artist from Brighton. He fuses ‘80s pop with the darker melodic side of the ‘90s. “His modern production and sound wouldn’t be out of place on the radio and he is a charismatic onstage presence”.
"Arriving in a time of unpredictability, Edward Sansom has a confidence yet humility in his presence. Edward performed on one of the main stages at the Great Escape Festival (2016) and then sold out his first headline show at the ‘Hope and Ruin’ venue. He went on to win a bursary from the ‘Real Unsigned Project’ supported by Arts Council England to record his new tracks. Supported by the BBC Introducing South team, Sansom had his tracks chosen as Track of the Day on BBC Sussex & BBC Surrey. Edward then went on to perform at Glastonbury (2017) on the New Artist Showcase Stage.
Sansom continues to send waves through the local Brighton music scene and will be doing his biggest UK southern tour to date later this year. Edward is currently in the studio recording his new sounds and with plans to release more music over the summer, Edward Sansom is one to watch...
