Originally formed in 2011 under the name Ting & Ra & the Iries, they supported artists such as Zion Train, Dreadzone and The Toasters to name a few, as well as playing festivals such as Alchemy and Solfest.
In early 2013, they underwent a line-up change and it was there that Easydread was born.
Easydread have since played at the likes of One Love Reggae Festival, The Bulldog Bash and Skalloween, Equinox Festival (Headline), Small World Festival, Strawberry Fair (main stage), Bedford River Festival (main stage) as well as supporting Gentleman's Dub Club, The Voodoo Glow Skulls, Mr Woodnote, Kuenta I Tambu, Hackney Colliery Band, Dub Pistols, Popes Of Chillitown & [spunge] .
Easydread combine sounds drawn from a range of influences, from reggae and ska, to soul, punk and rap.
They seamlessly blend powerful political imagery with sweet harmonies and heavy grooves that will get you thinking as well as skanking.
