Dylan And The Moon writes songs that people carry with them.

BBC award-winning indie-folk singer-songwriter and producer Dylan Holloway writes songs that feel handwritten, worn at the edges, warm, smoky and alive; like an old Polaroid or a memory ripped from a diary and played straight on a guitar. Inspired by the timeless songwriting of David Bowie, The Goo Goo Dolls, Paul Simon, Coldplay and classic country music, Dylan creates songs that feel both intimate and expansive, deeply personal yet somehow familiar.

Winner of BBC Three’s Project Icon, Dylan has performed across venues, festival stages and cinemas internationally, bringing his music and storytelling to audiences from Black Deer Festival and BBC Radio 1's Big Weekend to award-winning documentary screenings around the world.

Since embracing his identity as a transgender man in 2020, Dylan has become a bold and joyful voice for authenticity, self-expression and liberation. A unique part of the project sees him using old vocal tapes and archival footage of his pre-transition voice to create powerful male-female duets with his past self, an artist in conversation with his own evolution, writing music that grows alongside the people listening.

In 2026, Dylan’s story will continue its international cinema run through Tomorrow's Too Late, the award-winning feature documentary exploring his life, transition and music, for which he also composed the original score.
