DUBLA is the name given to the project originated by the cooperation between Eugenio Dubla (voice, guitar and synth) and Alessandro Favale (bass player) together with Giacomo Abatematteo (drummer). The idea of this indie electro sound combined with british pop hints was born in 2015, so it took relatively short time to become real; in April 2016 DUBLA performs for the first time for the Arezzo Wave Love Festival, winning the selections and later on representing the southern italian region of Puglia at the contest’s finals in July 2016. Contronatura Music Festival and Cellamare Music Festival are other two important musical events to which DUBLA takes part during Summer 2016, together with many artists and bands belonging to the Italian background of indie music. With the live performance at the CCA in Glasgow, DUBLA starts his collaboration with the Become One Music record label. The brit footprint is declared as well as their will to make people dance during their live performances.
