Dear Pariah is the alias for songwriter Charlie Hinchcliff, based in London. Starting the project in 2012, she created all the parts for a 7 piece band consisting of strings, harp, guitar, drums & vocals. After her self titled debut EP was released, she was invited to perform on Simon Raymond's (Bella Union, Cocteau Twins) show on Amazing Radio, which he called "exceptional" on air.

Always evolving, she then worked with Brett Shaw (Daughter, Florence & The Machine) to record 'Engulf', her second release in 2014. It was this release that gained her an 'Emerging Excellence Award' by Help Musicians UK. Using this financial backing she released her debut album 'Misc.' in May 2016. Co-produced by herself, The Little Unsaid & Waratah Records, it is a nod to her wide range of musical influences.

Since the release she has been working with Joeri Pronk, a Dutch Synth & Bass Player and they have played sold out shows at The Lexington and The Victoria as well as Lost Festival, playing alongside Francobollo & I Am Lovelace. The new year begins with shows in London and Manchester supporting BBC Radio 2 favourites, Lewis & Leigh.
