A songwriter, from a rural village in Northern Ireland, bringing a new sound with a familiar warmth.
At 16 years of age, Dean saw Foy Vance play at The Limelight in Belfast, and was blown away by the raw and honest emotional expression of Foy's performance. In that moment, he decided that he was going to commit his life to writing songs that make other people feel the way that he did in that small crowded pub.
Dean's only hope is to create music with a universally profound message, that is intimate and personal, yet entirely relatable.
