Dead Coast are a 4 piece psych / surf band based in London, Luca Bianco – Guitar Vocals, Craig Leadbeater – Bass / Backing Vox, Jonny Turner – Guitar / Keys and Mari Mardou – Drums and are influenced by bands like the Doors, The Beach Boys, The Growlers & Syd Barrett. Their sound is reminiscent to the more hallucinogenic swinging ’60s, which is perfectly displayed in their first 2 early EP’s Dead Coast EP (released via Lollipop Records) and the dreamy 3 track The White Cross EP (Marineville Records).

The Band released a four track nostalgia trip EP titled ‘Seven Deadly Children’ in 2013 with the 1st Track ‘Mystic Rider’ receiving rave reviews from the NME etc... The “quintessential surf / psych outfit” then released the first single to be taken from their debut album Shambolic ‘Hills Made Of Sand’ in November 2015 with the video for that track being directed by the brilliant Chris Wade of DogBrain Videos. The band quickly followed this up with stand out track ‘Jenny Loves The Sun’ in January 2016 with the video being shot and directed by the band themselves. ‘Jenny Loves The Sun’ enjoyed a large number of plays on Spotify and was also featured on Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist.

The Debut album ‘Shambolic’ was be released on 5th February 2016 via Annibale Records on limited Edition 12” vinyl, CD and digital. The album was very well received by psych / surf community and has enjoyed rave reviews and favourable radio play worldwide. The LP was Recorded and Mastered by Syd Kemp (Temples / Neal’s Children) at the fast becoming legendary R.I.P Studios in London. Shambolic was produced by Syd Kemp and Dead Coast, and features guest appearances from Yuki Isshii from all girl punk band Abjects, Francesco Perini from The Hacienda and Donnie Guasto from Elius Inferno & The Magic Octagram. The Artwork for the album was designed by James Burgess who has previously worked with The Growlers & MTV to name a few.

Dead Coast have recently had ‘Pillow Man’ (Taken from the White Cross EP) feature in the ‘You Are Not Alone’ film soundtrack which was released in February this year and the band have also just announced that NightIsTheTime, a track taken from their Seven Deadly Children EP will feature in the new Erik Peter Carlson film Wolf Mother starring the famous Hollywood actor Tom Sizemore, due to be released late 2016.
