David Kay

David Kay is an independent singer/songwriter from South Cumbria, armed with a guitar and a repertoire of quirky original material. With an eclectic mix of influences and a tendency to write about everyday situations and emotions, his songs range from slow folk ballads to upbeat acoustic anthems.

David plays intimate gigs all around the country, having embarked on numerous UK tours over the last four years, including a European tour performing in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.

On the back of his 2014 EP 'People Who Want More', he achieved airplay on Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio Cumbria. David released his debut album entitled 'Greasy Elbows' in 2016 and is set to release two EPs in 2018.
