Emerging songwriter David C. Clements, currently based in Belfast, has become recognised as one of the most captivating artists in Ireland. His is an epic and heavenly alternative folk; a mix of swelling melodies, heart stopping crescendos, and vocals touched with the ache of experience

Clements spent 2013 honing his craft playing with artists such as Ed Sheeran, Passenger, Of Monsters and Men and Gary Lightbody, as part of his Tedx talk in Stormont. The two years since have been no less exciting with David recording his debut album. Produced by Michael Keeney (Foy Vance, Duke Special, SOAK, Little Hours) the highly anticipated 'The Longest Day In History' feels timeless. Recorded live at Attica Audio in Donegal with his band, the album exudes genuine musicianship, raw power and a live energy that only happens when you put five guys, completely fluent on their instruments, in a room and let them do what they do best.

His appearance at South By South West will mark the start of what should be a very exciting year, Clements has managed to create a record that will instantly connect with music lovers the world over. His voice is undeniable, as is his live show.
