Danni G is a female singer-songwriter from the West Midlands who’s unique brand of rock n’ roll fuses her influences ranging from Led Zeppelin and Julie London, through to the likes of KT Tunstall, Blondie and Fun Lovin‟ Criminals.
Having released her debut single ‘Dreamer’s Dream’ to critical acclaim back in 2014, she has built up a consistent live reputation and has been working on her debut album which is set to be released in the early part of 2018. Not only has Danni written all of the tracks and played most of the instruments herself, she is also an accomplished Producer and has been behind the desk during the entire process. Ahead of its release, Danni G will be releasing a new double A-sided single featuring ‘Peas In A Pod’ and 'Eyes On You' this Autumn.
After performing as a solo artist for a number of years, Danni has hit the road again in 2017 backed by a full rock n’ roll band. Made up of West Midlands based musicians, her new live show is something to behold and has won her new fans and an incredible live reputation.
With songs ranging from Pop and Rock through to Soul and Funk, Danni’s band will be sure to re-write any preconceptions surrounding a young female singer-songwriter, and will assist in building anticipation even more for the albums’ release date.
Although she has been playing live for a number of years, Danni G has already achieved so much. At the age of 15, she was not only the youngest artist, but the first female solo artist to perform on the Main Stage at the Bulldog Bash in Stratford-Upon-Avon. Danni also undertook a prestigious slot at The Lion Rally in Reading.
Danni has played support slots to Luke Concannon (Nizlopi), The StringerBessant Band (Reef) and gained the attention of Frank Benbini of Fun Lovin’ Criminals. Frank subsequently persuaded the band to relinquish the rights to their track 'I Can't Get With That' which was then recorded as a B-side to her debut single.
