Irish Hip Hop artist Damola got involved in music in 2008 through the avenue of rap and has since evolved as he now performs with a live band, owns his recording studio, engineers all his songs and produces every now and then. The young MC typically speaks on personal experiences but sometimes gives the listener an insight into his imagination. An eclectic artist, Damola merges various sounds, genres and cadences together around the skeleton of rap verses, coupling those with melodies and harmonies. He has since 2015 released 2 Music Videos to his tracks James 4:6, and WorkFlow on YouTube and in august 2016 released his latest single Snoozing on SoundCloud. The thrilling and captivating performer hopes to bring his unique vibe to Festival stages in 2017 as he did last year at Electric Picnic, Other Voices, Hard Working Class Heroes, Canalaphonic Festival, Sofar Sounds and various venues across Dublin and Ireland at large.
