Cosmo Calling are an alternative indie rock band based in central Manchester. After meeting at the Royal Northern College of Music, vocalists Phoebe Taylor and Harry Preen, guitarist Darragh Burke, bassist Tom Chapman and drummer Gabriel Alexander are fast becoming fixtures of the city's indie circuit. With a creative mix of addictive melodies and heartfelt lyricism, Cosmo Calling are some of Manchester's most compelling, fresh talent.
They have supported acts such as Noasis at a sold out Manchester show, had extensive radio play, performed at various different festivals including Door 2 Door Festival and Bourne Beer Festival as well as performing a 10 date tour last year.
They are in the process of being signed to New Street Records which is the first entirely student-run non profit record label whose vision is to create a student revolution in being the market leaders developing and launching student talent. The directors of the label were awarded the Points of Light award for Volunteering by the Prime Minister.
