Coates is a Singer/Songwriter from Buckinghamshire. He first emerged in 2016 with his debut EP “Vol.1”. Awash with social commentary and full of indie hooks the EP was well received and was championed many including by Acoustic magazine, R2 Rock n Reel and Louder than War magazine. With new additions to Coates’ live line up he has been able to expand his musical palette with grittier rhythm guitars, Johnny Marr influenced leads blended with lush synth lines.
Influenced by Artic Monkeys,The Smiths and Oasis and fuelled with a fresh and energetic driving urgency to his sound; Coates plans to release a whole host of new music throughout 2017 starting with “Posing in the Dark” which will be available for free download very soon.
