Since the release of her ‘Out of Towners' EP, Clara has spent the summer on the festival circuit showcasing her outstanding vocal ability and story telling prowess, seamlessly delivered with personality and flair. Her performance at the Country 2 Country festival at the O2 Arena in March lead to a nomination for 'Female Vocalist of the Year' in the British Country Music Awards. Having honed and developed her skills both as a creator of expertly crafted music and as a captivating live performer, Clara has built a loyal and dedicated fanbase through her numerous UK shows and festival slots. After hearing the EP, BBC Introducing asked Clara to record and film a full-band live session series of the entire EP.
With the completion of festival season, Clara was invited onto the Wildwood Kin UK tour as a touring support act, which began the day after supporting Lindsay Ell at a sold out London Borderline as part of Country Music Week. She then went on to play a show with Newton Faulkner and to film an Under the Apple Tree session with Radio 2’s Whispering Bob Harris, which he called “one of my favourite Under the Apple Tree session performances lately”.
