What I Offer Original composition to picture — I write directly to your edit. Send me the cut, tell me the mood, and I will score it. Every instrument played live by me in my own studio in the Scottish Highlands.
Library music editing — I have an extensive catalogue of original recordings across multiple genres. If your budget or timeline requires it, I can edit and adapt existing material to fit your cut precisely.
Session musicianship — Available for remote session recording on guitar (electric and classical), bass, drums, and piano/keyboards. Grade 8 classical guitar. Able to read music and work by ear.

I have spent over forty years playing, recording and producing music across classical, rock, blues, ambient and cinematic genres. I have worked at the highest levels of the UK music industry — as Head of A&R in Scotland for a producer with 36 Grammy Awards, whose credits include David Bowie and Paul McCartney. I have been in studios with The Who. I have been mentored by the man who wrote the Doctor Who theme.
I record everything on real instruments in my own studio. No samples pretending to be strings. No loops pretending to be drums. If you hear a guitar, I played it. If you hear a bass, I played that too.
My music has been described as having "the mysticism of Page, the flamboyant flare of Hendrix, the virtuosity of Vai and the subtle caress of Gilmour."
