Carpets are an original post punk/grunge band based in Manchester. The 3 piece pride themselves in their innovative live performances and deep, meaningful songs that keep the audience enthralled. The band have developed their own fanbase in Lincoln and have since moved on to Manchester where their music truly feels at home.
They are often described as a new sound developed out of the ashes of two genres that once made so many of the nation’s favourites. Without listening to the band they can only be described as the lovechild of Nirvana and Joy Division on acid. Stage diving, nose bleeds, group chants and unforgettable moments come together in a package guaranteed by a Carpets appearance.
