Blind Pilots hark back to a time where no matter how much your crowd were yawning their way into the week, you’d still kick up a Friday night violent frenzy. Buoyed by recent riotous and sweaty outings in places like Ipswich and Sunderland as part of their first tour, this Buzzcocksian speed-punk wagon now knows no bounds and ain’t about to slow down for no one.

Formed in London in 2014. The band consists of Adrian Stubbs (guitar, vocals), Andy Green (guitar, backing vocals) and Tim Davis (drums).

Influenced by anything from Pixies to The Smiths to Modest Mouse, The Coral as well as by the 'Britpop' scene of the 1990s, the band started playing towards the end of 2014, having recently headlined 'The Water Rats and '100 Club' in London as well as self releasing 2 singles, Stand Up For The Mourning (with its football hooligan style video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MCY1ecz5eLw) and more recently the Timeless 'Evil Eye' (available here.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGlomUUmBl8)

The jagged and frenetic 3 piece have been loosely compared to BRMC. Blind Pilots display that ‘don’t give a fuck’ attitude not see since The Strokes started being courted by Vanity Fair. These days, there are plenty of places to go get your dose of polished ‘clever’, very few where you can leave a gig utterly perplexed and pummelled at the same time and still want more.
